Powerful Bass with Low current consumption
This amplified subwoofer features a built-in, high-output, low-distortion 350-watt Class D amplifier, specifically designed to work in partnership with the high-sensitivity woofers and optimized for use in the small, sealed enclosure of this subwoofer.
This subwoofer uses high-efficiency Class-D amplification, with a current consumption of only 13 amps, allowing it to be installed without the need for heavy-gauge wires to power the internal amplification.
No RCAs, No Problem!
With the included RCA (low-voltage) input and speaker line (high-voltage) input cables, you can start your setup right out of the box. Designed for easy integration, this powered subwoofer makes installation easy, whether or not your source unit has pre-outs.
Flexible Sound Adjustment
User-adjustable controls include an LPF, phase control, variable bass boost level (0 to +12 dB), and bass boost frequency adjustment (40Hz to 100Hz) to provide enhanced subwoofer control. To expand system flexibility and user control, the output volume can be adjusted using the included wired remote bass control knob and the input gain control mounted on the enclosure side panel.
Installation Flexibility
The innovative trapezoid shape of the enclosure is designed for high rigidity and to reduce internal standing waves, while also increasing installation flexibility. Can be installed freely in the cabin or trunk space and re-positioned with the subwoofer firing rear, front or upwards for optimal bass tuning. The enclosure is fully carpeted, creating a non-slip, durable and scratch resistant surface.
Keep it cool
This subwoofer uses Pioneer's VCCS (Voice-Coil Cooling System) to create better airflow around the motor drive unit, including the voice coil within the extended pole-piece and magnet. This design achieves better power handling and heat management within the sealed enclosure.
